Diamond Wall Clock

The abstract mosaic design on the clock face is created from pieces of peeled corrugated boxes and includes triangles and rectangles. Pieces of Chinese text are used in place of some of the corrugated pieces.
The hour points are coconut shell disks, buttons or beads, from a salvage store, mounted on a red background of my favorite Thai Unryu paper.
The outside is covered with peeled corrugated paper with glue lines showing where the corrugations were. This is leftover from the process of peeling corrugated for the mosaic pieces.
The hour points look unevenly spaced but this compensates for the square arrangement. Usually hour points are arranged in a uniform circle.
