A-Frame and Wall Frames

Each frame is handcrafted and no two are exactly alike.

Sheet music, maps and other border papers are also recycled, post-consumer materials.Each of these corrugated mosaic frames are made from recycled materials that are environmentally sustainable and earth friendly. Both the frame and corrugated mosaic pieces are 100% post-consumer corrugated material.

Frame Size and Width

The photo below shows two 4x6 photo frames: the one on the left is in a wide frame.

The wide frame has an extra 1/2" on each side of the frame,
allowing for more mosaic or the addition of a border.
Wide frames are 2.25" from the outer edge of the frame,
to the opening for the photo.

4x6 Photo Frames
The wide frame has an overall size of 8"x10" and the narrow frame, also holding a 4x6 photo, has an overall size of 7"x9".

5x7 Photo Frame - the wide frame has an overall size of 10"x12" and the narrow 5x7 frame is 9"x11" overall.

Corrugated Mosaics are created from clean, sturdy, 100% post-consumer, corrugated material. The main body of the frame is cut from doublewall corrugated.

The abstract surface mosaic is made from peeled sections of recycled corrugated cartons. When selecting corrugated material to peel, I look for interesting colors and a variety of textures inside the box. I then cut the peeled corrugated into smaller squares, triangles, and rectangles, in order to fit them into the abstract design. I also cut thin cross sections through the corrugations, which I use to separate the corrugated pieces.

All of these frames can be turned to hold horizontal or vertical photos.

These frames do not have glass; the photo is taped to the inside of the frame. This design enables the photo to changed quickly and easily. Changing the photo — often and regularly — will give a fresh look in any room.

The corrugated frames are sprayed with a clear varnish to protect them from moisture.

The traditional first anniversary gift is paper and recycled paper is a very green, renewable and sustainable gift - for any occasion.

A variety of frames for 4"x6" photos are readily available.

Frames for 5"x7" photos, and other sizes, may be custom ordered.
